A New Year Note from Indiana Virtual Families

Happy New Year and welcome back to session!  We wanted to remind you that we are out here, waiting and watching with much hope that you will consider new education options for the children in Indiana.

As the volunteer parent coalition representing Indiana Virtual Families - we offer our experience, our stories and our knowledge about virtual learning to you as a resource.  There are thousands of families across our state who believe public virtual schools would be a great fit for their children - and should be an option for ALL children.

As virtual learning comes to the forefront for discussion please contemplate the following video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pMcfrLYDm2U to realize not all kids learn alike and we need  more options in public education!

We will be sending you periodic updates with research highlighting the value of virtual learning.  Watch for our recent ½ hour program (Economic Outlook on WNIT) to be sent to you in the next few weeks discussing virtual learning and its value.  Meantime, you can check out our web site to learn more about what we do and about the growth of online learning across the United States. It's a trend in education that's here to stay. We hope that Indiana will finally be among the states that offer this choice to our children.

We welcome your questions and value your input!
