Dear Friends and Supporters of Indiana Families for Public Virtual Schools,

We have been trying to send out Evites for our upcoming picnics, pool parties, and summer events--but are having technical difficulties.  We apologize, and hope that this message will do.  Though it's not as flashy & colorful, know that we care about each of our families, and most especially their children.  Providing opportunities to meet other families and have fun helps all of us, and gives our coalition the opportunity to invite lawmakers to get to know us as individuals.  (We encourage each family to invite their local Indiana State Senator or Representative, as well as their family too!)

Summer is a busy time for families, but we hope you can join us as we all try to get in the mood for school once again!  Please take advantage of the activities that will best suit your family.  We promise some fun, food, and fellowship--and even a few doorprizes! We'd love to see all of you!

Potowatami Park & Zoo Picnic

Bring a dish to share if you would like.  Come early for the door prizes and zoo passes!  Park has a large Kids Kingdom Playground and free parking.  It's also very close to the Potowatami Zoo & swimming pool.

Bring a dish to share if you would like.  The first 50 people get free admission to the pool!  Pool admission for those after the first 50 is $4 person (regular admission is $5)
When you arrive, tell the front desk you're with the Virtual Families Picnic.  Then please come check in at the deck area to be counted.   HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE!!!

A group rate for Holiday World and Splash & Safari tickets for Friday the 6th is available, if you make arrangements with Monique in advance with your RSVP.  Normally, admission is $41, but the discounted group rate is $28 per person for both parks.  This price includes free drinks and sunscreen.  The tickets have to be paid for at one time, so those wanting to do so would need to meet Monique's family at the main gate at 9am on the morning of August 6th to pay.  If you're interested, please make a note with your RSVP with your phone number and number of people needing tickets.  The picnic is the following day.  Call Monique if you have any questions at 812-528-7957. Hope to see you there!

We'll pay for admission to the pool, just come by the Big Log Shelter to pick up your passes.  You are welcome to bring a picnic lunch for your family, or please bring a dish to share for a family style pitch in lunch at the shelter.
