CALL TO ACTION

U.S. Congress and House Appropriations proposed cuts of $100 million to the federal Charter Schools Programs, $200 million to the Teacher Incentive Fund and $500 million from Race to the Top funds. We urge you to read the following alert released by the National Alliance for Public Charter Schools and  contact Congressional offices at  stating "Indiana parents and families strongly oppose these cuts and asks that Congress eliminate them," then  Click here to send a message to Rep. David Obey, Chairman of the Appropriations Committee, and Members of Congress, if you oppose the Obey Supplemental Appropriations bill and its education funding cuts.
